Presidents with foreign born parents: Herbert Hoover’s mother was born in Canada. Woodrow Wilson’s mother born in England. Chester Arthur’s father was born in Ireland. James Buchanan’s father was born in Ireland. Thomas Jefferson’s mother was born in England. Andrew Jackson parents were both born in Ireland. Barack Obama’s father was born in Kenya. Mitt Romney’s father was born in Mexico.

So what?

They were all citizens (Naturalized) when their offspring ran for office!

The argument has been advanced here (and elsewhere) that a president must be born with two natural born citizen parents in order to avoid the split allegiance theory.

Correction! Hoover's mother and Wilson's mother had become naturalized. Arthur lied about his father's citizenship and Buchanan's parents were residents of Pennsylvania when the Constitution was ratified....so they became citizens at that point.

Thomas Jefferson was one of the folks who became citizens when the Constitution was ratified and was allowed to run under the grandfathered clause in [Article II; Section I]. Same situation with Jackson.

Mitt Romney's dad was a citizen by birth because his parents, although living in Mexico..... had never given up their U.S. citizenship.

Barack Obama is not a Natural Born Citizen and is a complete fraud!
