All I can figure is the two o's at yahoo.com's homepage is supporting lesbians.
Another thread is running. Woman’s Day or some such thing.
Google’s got the same thing -— women only, apparently ...
You just noticed that Yahoo and Google are pro-homosexuality?
March is “Women’s History Month”.
Yes, missed it. Mods can delete my post.
Facebook is screwed, though. They came up with a laundry list of over 50 "gender identities", and now there aren't enough months for everyone to have their own. If the celebrate one, the rest are going to bitch about being "marginalized".
It's "that time of year" for them.
“Women’s History Month”
Reason #759,658 why I’m glad to be retired from the military. Every March, we’d have to go through the same inane claptrap about learning about what a great role women played in the development of society and how white males oppressed them for eons until they liberated themselves.
(Not that women haven’t done some great things that shouldn’t be acknowledged, but, geez...I can do with the recognition but not trying to throw a guilt trip with it)
Anyway, the basic message of this is the month is that if you don’t give preferential hiring and promotions to women, if you don’t support full “reproductive rights”, and if you don’t fully support women in their quest to live completely separate from men (with the exception of the sperm donor for the turkey baster), you want to tie them to their stoves and clasp chastity belts on them.
there, I feel better now.
LOL, you win.
It’s a big deal here in Russia. It’s like Mother’s Day on steroids. More flowers, chocolates and champaign are sold for this occasion than the rest of the year combined.
If’s got nothing to do with feminism or gender issues. In Russia, women are proud to be women.
“Reason #759,658 why Im glad to be retired from the military.”
It’s in every decent sized corporation now. I just got finished with the Black BS, now Women’s BS.
I understand, having worked for a couple of them.
At least with the corporate world, your performance evaluation is not tied quite so closely to whether you support these programs or not.
(Probably the reason I retired as an E-7 rather than an E-9...didn't want to play the PC BS)
When is “Men’s History Month?”
April—for April Fools.
Can you imagine if they decided to squeeze ‘white men’s history’ into one month? I probably shouldn’t even suggest it, since that’s probably what’s coming anyway.
March 8th is International Woman’s Day.
Well,,, since I don't know any International Women, I guess I don't have to do anything special.
All year long, including March.
More's the pity. You have my sympathies.
