Incompetent, trigger happy, power tripping hateful woman.
An innocent teen had to die to get her off the streets? I’d say the system failed.

You know... I can understand DRAWING your weapon, if you think someone might be armed.
But unless they are pointing it at you, I don’t understand why she felt she had to fire her weapon. I think pointing your weapon at the target and issuing instructions would be more than enough.

An innocent teen had to die to get her off the streets? What makes you think she's fully off the streets?

This broad makes Barney Fife look like James Bond. These poor
grieving parents need to sue every town that employed her.
That sweet looking kid.

She even looks skittish in that photo.

Well, I imagine she isn’t working as a cop anymore.

And still no response and no press conference and no pictures of the “weapon” from the Georgia Bureau of Investigations.

To: Bulwyf
Well, I imagine she isnt working as a cop anymore. That's what people said after she was terminated at the Acworth PD and just before she was hired by the Euharlee PD.

Nope, totally believable. And expected. Defectives like this Gatney always have a trail of destruction behind them and yet continue to get hired until a high profile tragedy finally occurs. Been there, seen that in the past.

She looks like there’s nothing behind those eyes. She’s a meathead...dead from the neck up.

It may get her off one set of streets. There are many other jurisdictions for which her proclivities are a decided plus.

According to the original report, she fired IMMEDIATELY upon the door opening. She must have already had her weapon drawn with her finger ON the trigger and with an intention to shoot whoever opened the door. She did not have time to process that he had something in his hand.
