if it comes to that maybe calling for an ambulance/fire dept is better.Now days when the ambulance arrives, the cops even beat the lawyers. The Animal Control group comes in third to pick up the dead dogs.

This story reminds me a bit of the woman that rammed her car into the White House gates a few months back.When I first saw this thread, I thought it was a re-hash of that in in incident. Many of my former co-workers (I am now retired) live in Sacramento, and my son goes to Sacramento State.

Im usually anti-cop on these threads, but if the facts are as written, it sounds like a righteous shoot to me.
I guess for todays standards. But 20 years ago no one would ever be shot based on the original crime/ police call. Nowadays it seems that confrontation and death are far more likely then they used to be.

I grew up in the fifties. Cops weren’t fast on the trigger, but if you rammed them a couple of times you would probably get return fire.
