The word “moron” is not one I will use for any parent unless they are neglecting or harming a child-I may not agree with their customs, view or ways, but it is not my child or my call, they need to call their insurance company.
If it were me making policy in this litigious society, I’d get a release from the parents, and I’d do it before they got pissed-paranoid or not, they can hire an ambulance chaser, too and then the battle is on-clogging the courts and wasting our money in more ways than one. I realize that dealing with workers comp has made me jaded, but that is the way it is.
I had a pediatrician I chose, of course-someone to call for serious matters-but times were different then-every scratch didn’t require a specialist-a GP did just fine-ambulance chasers were not prevalent as they are now, and a kid was a kid-not an excuse to sue.
I think my first prayer with candles and incense to Our Lady of Guadalupe in her new place will be one of thanks that I had my kid before all this lawsuit and government madness...
LOL This guy is paranoid, not moronic. He best get used to the idea that there will be oversight over his parenting, though. It’s the truth. Ask that teenage girl’s parents in Connecticut. She has cancer and the state took her away from them, because the nanny state know better of course. RME
well i had mine post litigious society and gov’t madness and it worked out just fine. i thank God mine were born healthy and did not have anything life-threatening crop up at birth.
