Van Jones is a card-carrying commie. How about ‘no commie’ signs.
The people who own businesses that are being hijacked by same-sex couples and their liberal allies, the wedding photographers, the cake makers, and the like, have never said “no gays”. They have said that they cannot be enablers for morally repugnant behavior. They have objected to circumstances that not only chill but destroy free expression and free association. They also say that they thought slavery ended in the late 1800’s.
But this is not about getting all wedding photographers and cake makers to be happy to accept gay customers. This is a “two-fer” with gays: they get to rub their personal choices in the faces of people who find them repugnant and they get to destroy marriage as an institution.
Because government is no longer willing to defend marriage as God defines it, it is time to return marriage to the private sphere where it came from and always really belonged. Gays can get married but will not be able to force others to approve of it, and will not be able to force others into slavery to serve and enable their sinful actions. If liberals demand that we remove the Ten Commandments from government, they cannot attempt to cling to marriage in an attempt to destroy it. If we must have separation of church and state, let us also have a separation of marriage and state.
The Left is trying to replay the civil rights era of the blacks. It gave them lots of political mileage. If you can cast yourself as on the civil rights for gays team, you reap political benefits. You can use it to demonize those who are not on board for religious reasons. And, using the Alinsky method, you can destroy your opponents.
In the case of Van Jones, we can use the Alinsky method against him. We can say his Marxist politics is against the civil rights of all people. In the case of Marxism, the elite party members oppress the civil rights of the people they rule. With them there are no rights endowed to us by our Creator. Van Jones is the oppressor of all the people.
I really don’t think gay people were ever held as slaves, and I don’t think declining to recognize holy matrimony between two men is quite the same thing as posting a “No Gays” sign. It’s a nice, greasy little bit of propaganda, though. Jones is good at what he does, but what he does, isn’t good.
Hey Fanny Jones,
Does that mean that dry-cleaning shops in Harlem owned by blacks MUST accept the Klan outfits that KKK members bring them to be cleaned? If the shop owners perform pick-ups, MUST they stop by the most recent cross-burning to pick up the KKK outfits?
I suppose a man wearing a KKK outfit can board a bus in Harlem and everyone will just smile and say, “Well, that’s his right. It’s a free country,” right?
And gays, are you going to serve professionally everyone who comes into your salons etc., even TV evangelists who preach against homosexuality? I don’t think so. A female representative just lost her hair stylist because she supports the Biblical definition of marriage.
Guess what. I support the hair-stylist’s right to stop serving...for whatever reason. It may not be good for business, but that’s his/her right.
Same with every other business owner.
I never watch CNN, so I did not know that a$$hole communist POS Mo Fo was on it. He really is an asshole communist POS Mo Fo.
Ah yes. Van Jones. When he left the administration he noted how he wished the left had a ‘grass roots’ organization as effective as the TEA Party. Thus was born ... The Occupy movement.
Van lacks.
I’d like to see ‘Communists Hung On Sight’ signs.
"We"? "WE"???
Who's "We", jackass?
As menioned in related threads, many federal civil rights laws that have no basis in enumerated rights amended to the Constitution by the states are "void, and of no force, as Thomas Jefferson would probably put it.
Note that enumerated constitutional rights are the ones in the Bill of Rights and also the voting rights amendments.
What's going on is civil rights leaders have evidently never been correctly taught how constitutionally enumerated rights work, especially after FDR's activist justices "nuked" 10th Amendment-protected state sovereignty in the 1940s. So misguided civil rights leaders have inadvertently established many federal civil rights outside the framework of the Constitution, meaning without the required consent of the Constitution's Article V supermajority of states. And today's constitutionally-impaired civil rights "leaders" are now making the same mistake with trying to force constitutionally indefensible federal civil rights which protect the gay agenda.
But it remains that the states are free to make laws which discriminate on any basis that they have not amended the Constitution to expressly protect, as long as such laws don't also unreasonably abridge enumerated protections.
Regarding the gay agenda, what I don't understand is why "secular" business owners who compete with Christian-owned businesses wouldn't welcome the patronage of gay people that Christians business owners would rather not deal with.
Finally what Christian business owners need to keep is mind concernig the gay agenda is the following. They don't want to be a stumbling block to people struggling with same-sex temptations, but who would nonetheless be receptive to the good news of Jesus. After all, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 indicates that certain members of that church had been involved in same-sex relationships but had evidently repented and accepted God's grace to turn their lives around.
Doesn’t Van Jones look so cute in his tight-fitting Mao suit and ballet slippers.
Now even Obamie’s commies are getting their knickers tighted up in a wad, or was he like that naturally?
CNN is becoming so desperate the next thing you know, they’ll have Whitey Bulger on covering the crime beat, Anita Dunn doing a rehash of the “Cultural Revolution’s upcoming 50th anniversary, and Rahm Emanuel doing a pirorette in “Swan Lake” for some elementary school kids.

We need to distinguish between man’s laws and God’s laws. Neither the Supreme Court nor the US Constitution is going to protect Christians from the world. Far too many Christians have made the mistake of thinking that because they live in America that the laws of the state would be a reflection of the laws of God. As you can see, they aren’t. We Christians have to accept the fact that we are IN the world, and we are not going escape all the evils and temptation from living in the world. We are IN the world, but we do no have to be OF the world. A time of great suffering is coming for all those that follow the Cross of Christ.
Everywhere you turn there’s a “No Gay” sign...oh, wait.
What does Mr. Van have to say to the gay hairdresser who is now refusing the governor of Arizona service?

FU commie!
Leftists like Jones thrive on straw-man arguments. And the ignoramuses amongst the voting public buy into it.
There was a time I didn’t care one way or the other. Still don’t, in some cases.
But I’m so tired of the “In Your Face Faggots” that I would seriously consider a “No Homosexuals” sign. I might not do it because it would also offend a lot of straights, but I’m tired of being told homosexuals are special people that I must admire.
It seems to me that “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” is good advice for public behavior, homosexual or heterosexual...just leave your sex life in your bedroom!
So a guy walks into a restaurant and asks the bartender “Do you serve queers here?”
The bartender answers “I’m new here; I’ll have to check the menu!” < /rimshot >
