Both of my children were born by C-Section, and the pediatrician, pre-selected, attended both births, even though the first was not scheduled. It seemed to be a good idea to me at the time. ? I don’t think it is a law (in Nebraska, at least).
I had 3 C-Sections first one emergency, the other two planned. The last two we had Pediatrician who attended both births and good thing too- our daughter wasn’t breathing at first and had some fluid in her lungs.
What if you have a boy? Normally the Pediatrician does the circumsion.
