I never made them either. My dad, however, used to go to town for hours with a vat of boiling oil, a wife-beater covered in powder sugar little paczki cooling on every square inch of counter space.

Are those like Italian zepolles? I made a coffee cake last night, anticipating an ice day here and everyone is off, from schools to colleges and the spouse is calling a delayed opening which may extend to tomorrow. It’s good to be the boss.
