Thank you!
I’m sure you are less than thrilled about more snow-not long ago, we were happy to see and play in some snow, but this is ridiculous. At least I haven’t heard/seen any yowling about doom from the climate change crowd-I just wonder if it will take a blizzard or two burying their homes to show them that they can’t control the universe any more than the paleo Indians could when that little ice age shut them down ...
Love that tune-but high wind + high profile vehicle = bottom of ravine...
not a single snowman, or kid playing on the street that i can see! looks like it stopped, sun is out a bit, and we have the driveway down to the bare blacktop, so we are in good shape.
and yes, i fully expect soother to comment on the lack of snowmen playing on the street....
Magic dust, like the reindeer?
whereas you know Moochelle could whip their @$$e$.
The sun is out here. It’s supposed to be below zero tomorrow morning. They’ll be running the shuttle van from the parking lots again tomorrow.
Did you see that Porky Chedwick died? 96 years old!

They’re silly. /DW
Yes - it has warmed to 43 but was freezing overnight and well up to noonish. Ice predicted for tonight
Those do not look
Like playful snowmen!
That name is a blast from the past! Like listened toWAMO which is why I rock at the r&b categories of songpop!
I love those snow-whatevers!
It is 39 here, and there was a tiny bit of sunshine earlier -the clouds have closed up again, though and ice/sleet is predicted for us, too-I’ve dragged the foot wiper mats I use outside under cover again so I can put them out if the deck is icy tomorrow morning...
They’re not.
That’s from a Doctor Who Christmas special.
I watched none of it, and I saw none of the nominated movies (except the Great Gatsby which wasn’t so great) despite the fact that I go to the movies at least once a week!
This Great Gatsby was a poor second to the 1970s version with Mia Farrow as Daisy and Robert Redford at Gatsby. It won for costumes, but I thought the costumes are part of the reason I didn’t like this movie. They seemed overdone, compared to the 1970s version.
I don’t think I’ve watched anything like the Oscars in my adult life. I never liked to go to movies, either-but from the previews of this Gatsby version on TV, I won’t even buy it on pay-per-view for a fraction of the movie price-it does appear to be a pale imitation of the original, which my mom and I went to see together because my dad and bro thought it looked “silly”.
