The WASP had an engine similar to one used in their cruise missiles. As for avionics, it didn't have much range, such just a Garmin or TomTom off the shelf GPS would be find.

Smaller more efficient engines = more range. Plus more power means the ability to tilt further forward with more speed and even more range. Of course I wouldn’t want to ride one in the rain or cold. But flying like a bird would be a major HOOT.
