It’s interesting to see where the traffic goes outside of the EU and US. It appears that presumably Sao Paolo and Dubai are mini hubs. Buenos Aires, Istanbul and Singapore are a bit more minor. Beyond that it seems a bit more diffuse. Part of this may be because more prosperous countries (e.g. japan) have many airports.

There is a major traffic point off the NW coast of Africa. Is that the canary islands?
