I guess the next sex offender who grabs your kid takes him around the block a few times and then returns him to you will be no big deal to you? We have no idea what this Great Grandfather was capable of. We do not live in the World of ice cream and candy everywhere that you seem to believe.
If judging that someone who is in the act of doing the right thing is actually trying to do the right thing is living in a world of “ice cream and candy” then I guess I'm guilty.
