I’ve been in accidents myself. Not my fault. Accidents that totaled the car I was driving.
The lawyers wanted me to claim virtually any pain or discomfort they could think of.
Yes I was hurt. I went to the hospital. I was in pain for days to weeks. They wanted to claim permanent damage. They wanted me to go to a number of Doctors and physical therapists in order to run up the bill.
What a scam.
I walked away from my lawyer, telling him I can make more money by going to work than playing his stupid game.
I had 3 lawyers turn my accident down because I wouldn't claim any injury. "Not enough money". I was t boned in a hit and run. I was so furious that the insurance wanted to put $10,000. into repairs rather than total the truck. The frame was bent so badly it was still in the shop a month later. Apparently Nissan frames are really hard to work on. So I was out whatever trade in value I had in my truck, I was out $900.00 in rental fees and this SOB just walked away with just the tickets he had to pay to the city.
It just wasn't in me to fake an injury.
