I think many churches were “neutered” so to speak when they were made “beholden to the state” via the Vile Progressive plan called 501c tax exemption.

The church sold it’s birthright of the country as the moral center of the Republic by forcing it’s own mouth shut on political matters for small bowl of porridge called a “Tax write off”....

Since the Churches can no longer discuss such things from the pulpit we end up with abominations like Nancy Pelousy who is a catholic and pro-abortion.

Any church that doesn’t wake up to this is just selling itself down the river.

While I agree with your sentiment, the truth is that churches are not required to become 501C3s. Tax exemption for churches is automatic. What the 501 structure offers is immunity for personal liability under a corporate structure.

A church can claim tax exempt status without being a 501C3, but the staff is personally liable for all actions. We couldn't allow that, could we? Accountable and responsible leaders? Imagine the horror!
