SICK of this weather! snowing again, snowed yesterday. enough to delay the pub schools but really just a nuisance at this point. took me two hours to get in to my ofc.
It just started snowing here as well. Not supposed to get much, but the roads are already slippery. The racquetball club is 10 miles away and I’m starting to feel like phoning it in today.
started here around 5:30 or so, and yes, the roads are not great. after your last spinning experience, i think skyping a raquetball game with your friends might be advisable ; )
How many people have attempted to get FROM Miami TO Cuba?
xsteen and her affianced sent out their “save the date” cards this past weekend. xsbaby designed them with photoshop to resemble a ticket to a hockey game. It has a photo of the two of them wearing their jerseys [photo was part of the engagment photo shoot up in philly in Nov.] xsteen wearing the C on her ovechkin winter classic jersey and xs fiance with an A, can’t recall whose Flyers jersey he has. The space for the ticket section# row and seat has 09 06 14 [wedding date] and in the body below the pic it says Puck drops at 10 am, Washington, DC, September 6, 2014. It has a barcode at the bottom and above the pic is an outline of the DC skyline and below the pic is an outline of the philly skyline. On the back are three pucks with tape one has their names, the other has the date. It is very cool.

what sort of uninformed/misguided nut can go to cuba and praise it? other than someone that is a leftwinger who buys into the socialist paradise. Glad you exposed her to some truth. [and i don’t mean nekkid pix of our truthy either!]
Well, she is from Toronto and is a lefty, but I repeat myself.
do we still have a ban on direct flights to Cuba? i know we did, but in all likelihood Obams removed that. It used to be notable in Canada to see billboards etc advertising flights to Cuba.
ok, i need to ask this. Is Bruce Jenner really becoming a woman? or is this a fake story on the cover of the tabloids in the groc store? i don’t know where else to go for the...truth... ; )

Rubio is a powerful speaker. Impressive.
Mrs.Truth was headed out for her exercise class, but turned around and came home. It doesn’t take much for the frozen roads to be dangerous.
When Truth’sBabyGirl was a college sophomore, she was driving home for Christmas in a mild snowstorm, in a new PT Cruiser (high center of gravity deathmobile) when she hit a patch of ice that sent the car into the guardrail on Route 80. The car ended up resting on the passenger-side doors and she had to have a police officer free her. She was bruised and upset but basically unhurt. The car was totaled. There were several other cars in similar stages of discombobulation, and she said she saw one person on a gurney completely covered up—probably a fatality.
Bottom line—I don’t take snow lightly, even just an inch or so, particularly when the roads are frozen.

oh that is just horrifying to even contemplate! thank GOD she was ok.
She had called me from the road, worried about the car and very shaken up. She said that the car was still running. I told her to get the cop to turn it off, which he did. He dropped her off at a nearby Red Roof Inn, where she spent the night. He called twice and dropped by once to “check on her.” The fact that she was 19 and really cute probably didn’t even enter his mind. :)
