Ai, ai, ai.

Pit bulls are dangerous because they were bred to fight in the "pits"--the Brits did a dirty deed when they created this dog through selecting out of types.

Well-treated pits are the most dangerous, because their MORON owners insist they "they'll just lick you to death."

A dog is not a Tabula Rasa. Border collies herd sheep. Labradors are service dogs. Bloodhounds track. Terriers are great for vermin control.

And pit bulls just should not be, at all.

I love dogs, but am no fan of pitbulls. I think people should stick to coonhounds.

I see pitbulls as pet tigers, pythons, rattle snakes, and other domesticated menace.

I don’t care if people own them and get mauled by them. Good riddance. But, if they let them loose and pose threat to me and my family, I should be able to put them down. As long as I am able to shoot unleashed pitbulls, I don’t care what people keep as “pets.” It is their right to keep whatever they fancy and it is my right to protect myself.

As any “purebred” dog they actually have a lot of mongrel in them. If they can be bred nasty, they can also be bred nice. If we have a problem with nastiness in some strains of pit, then we have an opportunity for conscientious breeders to keep the look but lose the nastiness.

The only dog I was ever truly afraid of and refused to go near was my dad’s Bluetick, Rock.

That dog was a menace to society.

The only reason he was allowed to live was the fact that he sired some of the finest hunting dogs in this area.

He was so vicious that my dad stuck me with the task of feeding and cleaning up after him.

“Domesticated menace”.

LOL

That would be a good name for a snake breeding business.
