I am doing serious car thinking. The Audi S6 has summer tires on it, Pirelli P-Zero’s. The Mercedes C300 4Matic has Michelin Pilot all season tires that seem to do well in snow. The Audi is AWD, but the tires are undrivable in snow. I will proably buy a second set of wheels for the Mercedes with summer tires. I have been thinking about trading the Audi for a Nissan GT-R so extra wheels and tires may be a waste. The Nissan does not have nearly the nice interior of the S6, but is very fast.

I bought a set of take-off rims on eBay (fairly cheaply back when everybody was going to 20/22 inchers) for my Caddy and got Blizzaks. It’s an awesome feel when the roads are slippery.

Neighbor has one of those little Subarus that are so hot now. Couldn’t get it out of the garage this winter. Just spun the tires. Got a set of Blizzaks from Tire Rack last week. No problems now. Went as good as ...maybe better than... my old Durango.
