If I decide to go to school in Mexico I will expect to learn Spanish, and will expect it to be the language of the classroom. Nursing classes in the United States should be taught in English, and if a student is not proficient in English they need to become so in order to study nursing here...or hire a tutor to work with them outside the classroom.

Not to throw any more fuel on a fiery discussion, but...oh shoot, why not!?

Meine Frau works in the local hospital. To her way of thinking, there is nothing more arrogant than a Spanish-speaking (and English-speaking) patient refuses to speak English to her when scheduling an appointment.

Unless, of course, it’s the person who drives up in a black Cadillac and is adorned with gold jewelry who expects to be given free medical care because they’re on welfare. “I want my ObamaCare, now!!!”
