I learned the bulk of my Spanish in kitchens and on pillows, and only had a couple of years of it in school.

And no, I didn't go to a Catholic school. I did go to a private school though, where languages were required from grade 1 onward.

The pillow sessions did not, I trust, involve nurses from the Pima County Community College Nursing Course? But then qu'on conçoit bien , on dit bien, ne ç'est pas?

As far as skipping Catholic school goes .... well that could be a good thing. Those constant smacks on the hand with the steel ruler often lead to "Catholic School Hand," that is arthritic knuckles.
