Amen! When they produce more eggs than my kids can sell or we eat those go back to the chickens (and a few to the dog). In the next couple of years I am going to give feeder pigs a try. A neighbor gets way more goat milk than they use or sell and it’s been promised to the pigs.

Oh man... I miss my hens. We'd give them all kinds of kitchen leftovers and they loved it. When we got snowed under with all their eggs I'd hard boil a bunch, chop them up and feed that back to them (with the shells for added calcium).
