Interesting comment.
One of my buddies went to hs with Madonna in Michigan.
Said her claim to fame was a shockingly lewd performance in a school talent show.

Guess the more thing change, the more they stay the same.

Probably go all the way back to the first ‘voice’ in a musical setting - the parents wondering why their kids were listening to the crap etc etc..
My Grandparents etc didn’t like Elvis and theirs probably didn’t like the ‘Flappers’ each generation thinking the next one is coming to an end due to the music.
‘We’ didn’t like the Beatles (I was 25 when they went on Sullivan) because they were a bunch of long haired hippies, well when you were in the Military a ‘Dutch Boy’ on a male was very long.)
And our grandparents were right...NO MORE rock & roll, no more Swing Music, no more Big Band etc...
Of course ‘we’ didn’t like grunge? hard rock? heavy metal and now RAP, yet the world goes on and those of us that were the ‘lazy, know nothing slackers’ of the early 60’s that would never amount to ANYTHING, are now sitting here, damning RAP, and saying todays yute will never make it, much along the same line that ALL 17-20 year olds have went through since day one....

Wonder whose standards they held Adam and Eve to??? <: <:

BTW I can’t stand RAP and know the world will not survive it.
