Sorry, the Tea Party is NOT at war with the “globalists”. We can remain competitive right here in the US with free market policies. However, when socialist policies keep increasing the cost of labor and dumb down the education system, that’s what allows other countries to kick our butts. The solution is not to turn our back on the free movement of goods and capital, but to outcompete the world, including China.
It’s still folly to trade with one’s enemies.

Right on, right on.
China is kicking our butts right now.
The Tea Party needs to support American businesses.
Just saying. American.
By the way, here is a link to a FR discussion of another article, which is very good.

“US v China: is this the new cold war?”
Most manufacturing in the USA, what's left anyway, is done by non union labor at a ratio of 9:1. Minimum wage adjusted for inflation is not at an all time low but close to it. Besides labor is one of the smallest components of manufacturing costs anyway. Corporations love regulations and taxes because it keeps out the possible upstart little guy and gives them an excuse for offshoring production to communists countries all the while true "conservatives" like your self drink the gloBULList kool aid. What a world.
