I can't give a good answer to that, not being a lawyer. But I hope some conservative legal foundations and legal organizations will look at this and find grounds to sue the people pushing this on us into financial oblivion.

It would be sweet to hear major colleges and businesses come out and issue apologies to the public for relying on information which has turned out to be fraudulent. Won't happen though will it.
