But if that medium build guy in shortsleeve dark shirt with bluish pants/wet blue jeans...is holding onto the older lady in a white/purple jacket and all we can see of her from underneath is the sleeve of her jacket, then we know what we are looking at is Yamamoto and Fuddy.

From below the surface, you aren't going to see anything of Fuddy because her feet were floating on the surface and her knees were visble.
