The American Dream is at odds with The Lord Jesus Christ! “Success! Success! Success!” is not the theme of the Old or New Covenant. God esteemed the “others” in Hebrews 11—“They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground. .... And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings...”—why don’t we?
