Thanks for letting me know.

The secret’s safe with me. I won’t tell anyone.

I remember way back in the 60s or maybe early 70s. William F. Buckley mentioned how vulnerable we are to terror attacks on our power grids, reservoirs etc. He used a term for it which I have forgotten.

It is amazing how little we actually have suffered.

Or anyone else with a brain. Why sneak into a place when rifles can reach out more than a mile? Also, I think the DC snipers were a trial run. Watch and see.

HaH! Navy Seals would have to go to the gym to work out first, then they'd have to tan and make sure their 'do was up to Seal standards, sign a movie and a couple book contracts. Then maybe....just maybe....they'd service the target with something smaller than a 16-inch naval gun.

Caveat-former SF here :)

This was a well planned attack and not the actions of some random nut. My only question is why did they only use high powered rifles? Wouldn’t some type of explosive be more effective? Imagine the havoc if they had been armed with RPGs.

Sorry.

This is nothing mkre than the same BS I have observed for 30 years.

The lines between San Jose and Morgan Hill, even as far south as the MDF or CO in Salinas have been cut by vandals every couple years.

The Metcalf power substation has been similarly vandalized.

The lines in the Oakland are also cut for a variety of reasons related to vandals and backhoes.

There really isn’t anything to be alarmed about on this issue, in this area.

I believe these same areas were attacked around 2006/7 at which time I took an interest in ham radio but, it’s happened many times before.

Oh, and the circuits are not hidden. The right of way diagrams are online. You can Google them.

I won’t say where as I am bound by agreement but, they are publicly accessable.

However, as always, Be Prepared

Breaking news! After the attack on the electric Grid, NERC, FERC, BERT and ERNIE will find some Reliability Coordinator guilty of something.

Called in at the last possibility to share in the blame.
