If he loses, he’ll collect a 4th pension, social security and free healthcare for life. But it’s worth it to get rid of him.
Frankly, this is a non-issue, compared with letting Obamacare stagger on, and repeatedly letting Obama add another trillion to the national debt.

Elected officials should be well compensated for their time and efforts, but no elected official should ever collect a pension. For one thing, politics at ANY level shouldn't be a full-time job. Secondly, there's no reason for anyone to spend enough time in public office to consider it a "career."

I disagree Cicero. Most people don’t give a crap about the national debt as long as they are getting their paycheck and have money to go to the mall or fishing and buy a 6-Pack. While your points are valid and well taken, few things touch people like mistreatment of Veterans. Most adults in Texas are either a Vet or has a family member, friend or acquaintance who is a Vet. Veteran abuse ranks up there with spouse abuse and child abuse.

I think they should be paid what the national average income is.
They may travel to and from washington freely without
being harassed but that’s it. Otherwise they are subject
to the same laws, rules and regulations as every other
citizen. Their income should also be open for public
inspection and lawyers should be banned from public office.
