Has anybody seen the new Chevy Tahoe ad? The wife is taking the babysitter (maybe around thirteen years old) home. During the ride, the babysitter is checking out the luxury of the Tahoe. When they arrive at the sitter's house, the wife says '$40, right'?
I am visualizing an alternate version on Youtube where the Tahoe’s great braking is given a test, and then it’s great acceleration as it peels out into the night, leaving a snot-nosed teeny-brat standing on the side of the road.
The creepiest commercial I have seen in a long time was the Old Spice commercial with the mothers. I had the sound off on the television, and wached that...
I called out to my wife: “Honey. Can you come in here? There is something really weird on television. I think it a commercial!”
LOL!!! yup, right again...
not ready for prime time... that had to hurt
My wife commented on this ad saying, “O.K. Here’s your last pay...Welcome to Capitalism Miss Piggy.”
I’ll never by any POS made by the UAW, especially a FedGov Motors shitbox.
Ah, why didn’t you agree what the per hour charge would be before you left?
OH!!!...IT...INFURIATED...ME!
LOL! We were Facebook before there was a Facebook!
I gotta say, the only automobile ads I can stand to watch are Subaru.

Even if I had to pay another babysitter $60, the fact she decided to switch it after the fact, I’d never hire her again.
Oh, and I’d call everyone I know who would know her and let them know.
Speaking of car commercials, I love the Cadillac ELR one

Back in the day, I got 25 cents an hour for babysitting usually four kids at once.
$2.50/hr here.
Yep. Hubby and I cringe when we see the little brat on this commercial.
First of all, the parents walk in and say “You survived!” and she says, “Yeah, he went to sleep right away”. So, that tells you she had an easy sitting job that night.
Then, she tries to play class warfare games with her rate. I’m with y’all...I’d say “Here’s your $40.00 - especially since you had an easy night - and we won’t be needing your sitting services again”.
“What? Is that the pace car and its on fire?”
It was the flashing emergancy light system, not the car.
When I was a kid, I got $1/hr for babysitting the neighbor kids when the parents went out.
