Fallon's a good talking host but everything he does is already "old"....like the thank you notes.
Personally, I like Kimmel better...better personality.

Who is the least liberal of the 3?
Jay Leno has been on a roll excoriating Obama for the Obamacare rollout during his last few weeks.
To: SeekAndFind
I didn’t watch the Tonight Show much with Leno anyway, but to me, Jimmy Fallon IS NOT funny or interesting.

Jimmy Fallon proved Tuesday he wasn't a one-night wonder. Maybe he's just a two-night wonder.

It proves nothing, viewers tuned in to see what he's all about. Check back in two months after the dust has settled and see how his ratings are............

I think Jimmy Kimmel is hilarious, but I can't figure out what the deal is with his half-closed eyes.
Is he always sleepy or stoned?

I’m watching it right now on Hulu. It’s kind of fun to see Seinfeld’s stand-up routine, but I haven’t laughed yet. And the new studio seems small.

Agreed. I’ve never seen anyone who came close to Carson in my lifetime. The guy was a master of his craft.

Nobody can touch Steve Allen, the original, the irreplaceable.*****************************
"The Tonight Show is an American late-night talk show that has aired on NBC since 1954. Most recently recorded in New York City, it is the longest currently running, regularly scheduled entertainment program in the United States and the third-longest-running show on NBC after Meet the Press and Today. It is the longest-running talk show in television history, surpassing Ireland's The Late Late Show by several years.
The Tonight Show was hosted by Steve Allen (195457), Jack Paar (195762), Johnny Carson (196292), Jay Leno (19922009, 201014), Conan O'Brien (200910), and Jimmy Fallon (2014present). Several guest hosts also appeared, particularly during the Paar and Carson eras. The current host is former Late Night host and Saturday Night Live cast member Jimmy Fallon. The longest-serving host to date was Johnny Carson, who hosted The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson for 30 seasons from the fall of 1962 through the spring of 1992. The most recent host of the show is Jimmy Fallon, who has hosted the show since February 17, 2014 onwards."

I never saw Steve Allen, or Jack Paar on the Tonight Show, but I have seen both on TV. Both were wonderful.
I kid you not. :)

The Tonight Show goes ghetto.. But at least Fallon does skits like Johnny did, though. This was the one thing Leno lacked.
Whatever the case, BOYCOTT the Friday night airing.. The Mooch is on!

I would like to know if Jay's ratings went UP the night he had Ted Cruz on. Then I'm wondering if Jay's ratings went DOWN the night after Ted Cruz being on. I couldn't find the ratings for specific show dates but somethin' tells me Leno lost viewership following his attempted hatchet job on Ted Cruz.
America's new health care system and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.. NEITHER cater to old people anymore. Old people are being marginalized because they know how America is SUPPOSED TO BE.

Excellent point. Johnny's skits were one of the most fondly remembered elements of his show.

At one time, Jay was a very funny man. My husband and I saw him live in Lowell, MA back in the day, and he was incredible. As time went on, he lost his freshness and became more and more flat and stale.
I recently saw an interview of Fallon by David Steinberg, and although he can be appealing, Fallon seems a bit desperate. I fear that he may be too liberal to focus on real humour, and may instead grasp at whatever he thinks will win him approval from those he idolizes.
