I think they jumped the shark with "Whip It." I know it was their big hit but never liked that song or anything by them afterwards.

Before that, they were quirky and different. My personal favorite was "Jerking Back And Forth" from a 1981 album.

I was a huge New Wave fan back in the day. In addition to Devo, you had The Cars, Blondie, B-52s, Missing Persons, Joe Jackson, Echo & The Bunnymen and scores of other bands I could name.

Makes me feel old that they are starting to die off.
