Forgot to tell you this story. We went to xsboy's hockey game on Friday PM. Also attending the game was
Baye Moussa Keita and his gf. He was so very sweet, enthusiastically cheering each goal that SU scored, totally into the game. They were sitting just across the aisle from xshub and i, and i was on the end. At the end of the game i asked the gf, if she thought Baye would mind posing for a pic with xshub, that xshub was a diehard SU basketball fan and SU alum both undergrad and law school. They were just adorable, no attitude whatsoever, like you might expect a basketball star to have. So that was my valentine gift to xshub, a nice pic of him and Baye. First Baye did a selfie with xshub and then i thought, well that's not really going to help me because we won't have that pic, so then i took my own of them. Very very nice guy. xshub asked when he thought he might be back after the injury and he said def by the tournament. Now we are reading that maybe on Weds against boston college, but that seems a bit soon. he was still wearing the brace and it was big and unwieldy.

EAGLES UP! Once more unto the breach, my friends, once more!
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

it was! i just love him, he’s so totally unaffected and not at all a “tough guy”. Maybe because he’s Senagalese and not American, i don’t know. the gf also was not what you would expect a basketball stud’s gf to look like. She was very short, MaryLouRetton-esque almost, and looked athletic like that, fresh-faced and not one of the overly made up hussies.

I was guessing that with the name “Moussa” he probably wasn’t European.

you sure she's really short? Next to a center, you practically have to be Gabrielle Reece to not seem tiny...
To: Hegewisch Dupa

reluctantly leaving the babe portion of this discussion: did I read this right that your son plays hockey for Syracuse?
To: Hegewisch Dupa
yes, it’s D1 Club hockey. Their national championship equivalent of march madness is first week of March in Delaware. They will prob be killed in the first round, they are seeded 19th and playing Oakland, a school from MI. But it’s their first time in the history of the school to make the nationals, so exciting for them. We will hopefully make it up for the first [and last] game, since DE is an easy drive.
