I'm not sure there's any smoking gun in these emails. However, there is enough smoke around Mursi/Morsi's ties to US politicians that I look forward to seeing what falls out of this trial - which has now started, btw.

Well, it sort-of started. Morsi's legal team has walked out. They appear to be having a Get Smart/Cone of Silence moment with the glass cage that Morsi's in.
