Pickles the cat was once abandoned and had a hard time finding a home because of his size until he met a couple who have a heart and home big enough to take him in.
He was nicknamed Catasaurus Rex when he was put up for adoption. Weighing in 21 lbs for about 3 feet long, Pickles is larger than some dogs. Because of his enormous appetite, he was forced out of his home, looking for food scraps. But now Pickles has finally found a home and humans that love him to bits despite his size and the way he is.

Maybe he is, he just hasn’t shown it yet.
I’m worried for these good people.
They. Just. Don’t. Know. What. Can. Happen.
It starts with the wet-vac. Next thing, you’re reinforcing the roof joists and tuck-pointing the foundations. Trees are coming down and sold for firewood. You know, sometimes I’m moved to tears, to think of the things that have happened—going to happen to these poor people.....
And all the while, there sits Fred.
Watching.
Grinning.
You two are crazy! I could not follow anything Cyber wrote. How did you, Darks? I awoke in the middle of the night laughing about you two.
We’ve been married almost 13 years. It must be a male/male understanding of the English language.
Going out to my little slice of heaven into the gardens. Asparagus, corn, potatoes, onions are calling me. Tomatoes and peppers are not yet ready to be planted. Finished my exercises...
Typing with my fingers instead of the stylus. Cyber told me it would come back after the broken wrist (plate and eight screws) and shoulder replacement healed. Yippie!!!
Fred the Insane weighs in at 17 pounds. Next heaviest cat is the sweetest one, Lightning, at 13 pounds. Just FYI.
My last cat Kearen weighed anywhere from 26 to 20 pounds.
(She was rather tubby.)
Previous cat was Mimi, a bobby domestic mix who weighed in at 22 pounds.
Mimi got herself into the space under the floor once.
Then she chattered at everyone about her wonderful new hiding spot.
“Mwooowm!” it was a rather assertive and seemingly self satisfied call.
I found her entry point, then called to her.
She poked her head out questioningly, murred, then went back into her new hiding spot.
Took me an hour to convince her to come back out.
Kearen didn’t do such things as she was too tubby to pull it off.
