Laphroig was the first Islay Malt I ever had the pleasure to enjoy. That was several decades ago.



I now favor Lagavulin - My recent experiences with Laphroig have been disappointing - I believe they are damping it down to cater to to the masses.

Laphroaig 10 yo? Great value dollar-wise. The Triple Wood is very nice, but I never compared either to Lagavulin side-by-side. But I think I’ll make it a point to do so.
