RE: Rush invented ‘the gay gene theory’ long ago.
I think, the intent of this research is to give gays an excuse for their behavior by saying — “See, they can’t help it, it’s WHO THEY ARE.”
Hence, you see the analogy between being black and being gay, and of course, the implication — “being against gay marriage is like being against black marriage.’
If blackness is genetic and it is a moral wrong to discriminate against blacks, then, if being gay is genetic, it is also a moral wrong to discriminate against gays ( especially preventing them from getting married ).
But then, you can use the same argument for being a pedophile, but I don’t see anyone arguing for pedophilia (yet).
I would say that's a certainty, that it like race or sex and deserving of special protections,
Except gayness is defined by ‘feelings’ or desires which cannot be identified in isolation, so their actions on those become new rights.
