Strengthens claims homosexuality is decided by biology, not choice . . . two pieces of DNA that seem to be linked to homosexuality . . .

A tendency to alcoholism is also in the genes (I know, I inherited it). Genetics are not destiny; one can choose whether to drink to excess (something I have chosen, occasionally with great difficulty, never to do).

A tendency to adultery is in the genes for many people. Again, one can choose how to respond to that desire.

As for a tendency to homosexuality, one can choose whether to act on those urges. My neighbor is a nice man with five kids and is absolutely devoted to his wife. His identical twin brother was gay and died of AIDS several years ago. Same genes, different choices.
