Humor is essential to balance out the negativity in one's life and failure to see humor leads one to start kicking their dog.

And when one starts kicking their dog, the dog will eventually run away.

And before the dog runs away, it will likely attack the mailman.

And once the mailman has been attacked by the dog, he becomes reluctant to deliver the mail to the homeowners house and instead throws the mail into the dumpster a block away.

And when the mailman starts throwing the homeowners mail away, he also throws away a notice to the homeowner that he had just won $10 million but must claim the prize within 10 days.

Since the homeowner never got the notification, he lost out on $10 million dollars.
