I begin to understand why God, in times past, decreed that certain societies be utterly wiped off the face of the earth: The adults, having chosen for themselves utter depravity, would receive their due. And the children, utterly innocent, would be spared the sort of abuse currently being celebrated in modern times - and would instead be swept into God’s waiting arms.
