In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".
pluvial [ploo-vee-uhl]

2.Geology occurring through the action of rain.
-noun
3.Geology a rainy period formerly regarded as coeval with a glacial age, but now recognized as episodic and, in the tropics, as characteristic of interglacial ages.
[165060; < Latin pluviālis, equivalent to pluvi ( a ) rain + -ālis -al1 ]
There's ample evidence that pluvial planetary processes
result in groovial alluvial activity in the Solar System ...
Thanks. I generally make 2 trips to Dallas per year, in February and in August. The temperature averages out to 70 degrees. 30 in the winter and 110 in the summer. :)
Finally dug out. I ache from head to toe. Cooking food to bring to xsboy.
Funny!
Well, they just cancelled school for tomorrow due to my township declaring a salt emergency. They have apparently requested salt from the state and haven’t received it yet.
Almost all schools canceling here. Just heard VA tech canceled class tomorrow. No word from FEDGOV yet. I’m taking off reagrdkess to drive to SU but Xsteen’s ofc goes by fedgov.
It helps to have a sense of humor about it...
