Not sure.
It’s been open since 94 so for 20 yrs it was OK.
Obviously there will be some investigation as to did the contractor do seismic work in preparation?
Or can something like this occur over time and wasn’t present then?
Those kinds of questions are really easy to answer - just ask yourself which choice gets the insurance company off the hook.
