I’ve visited the Museum and the plant many times.
Hope they can get this repaired..it looks like it will not be easy.

Looks like the rear end of the 1993 sticking up to the right. I have one in my garage that’s like new. Bought it new and only have 27,000 miles on it. Ya think they might be interested in replacing the one they lost. Its the 40th anniversary edition. they all were Ruby Red.

I wonder what the footing looks like under the structure...from the pic of the hole, it may extend under the footings...the whole building may be a loss.
As for saving the cars in the hole, I don’t see how you do that safely without tearing the roof off of the building and reaching over with a large crane. I wouldn’t get anywhere near the edge of that thing.
