One guest thought the cost of the dress was close to $10,000.
"Well, first of all, I love the dress on her because I think it's so elegant and so simple. I mean, that shape is what we call the princess shape. It's got that sort of poof at the bottom that's very sort of billowy at the same time. It's strapless. I think we want to call that French blue, maybe," said a guest.
"Some people might call it periwinkle and it's got this sort of jet bodice and everything, and I think it's realy pretty. But a dress like that from Mrs. Herrera could potentially run up to almost $10,000."
Another guest on CNN last night thought the cost was about $12,000. "Well, by the way, I think that dress probably cost around $12,000. But that's just my guess," said Sally Quinn.
"FLOTUS was wearing a black and liberty blue Carolina Herrera gown," the pool reporter said.
They are prosecuting the former Virginia first couple for the same type of thing.
Classic Clinton MO.
Seriously, are you a troll?
You have proven my point. I thought it did not matter to you what” the dame who marries a millionaire” does with the money. Apparently it does, since you have questioned my generosity to the poor and my tithings to my church (which are substantial actually)
As I stated before IF she paid for that dress herself, then I have no problem with it..if taxpayers bought it then that is a different story. Envy is one of the seven deadly sins remember and the idea that people are not entitled to spend their money as they wish is what elected Ms.Robinson’s husband .twice.
The only way I could see criticizing the expense of her dress as class warfare is if the Obungholes had honestly earned the money to buy it. They didn’t. I think it is proper and useful to point out the incongruity of how Moochelle and the Kenyan speak disparagingly about the rich and how they flaunt wealth when they get a chance to do so. They are hypocrites of the highest order and calling attention to it is a good thing in my view.
The clothes don’t make the cow.
Please reread my first post #24 and you will see that I agree with you about their hypocritical nature when talking about wealth. But we must be very careful to soul search ourselves to make sure we are not falling into the same trap we accuse those who elected Obama of .
Sadly the idea that wealthy people have not gotten their money honestly is also a liberal tactic used to justify redistribution of wealth. Much of the Obama’s cash comes from the royalties he earns on the sale of his books. Many famous authors make money this way. Now you may hate what he wrote and think he is lying commie scum ( as do I ) but in a free market economy where people have the right to decide to buy his books can you really say that his money is not honestly made? What about the heirs of the rich and famous who inherit millions? is that honestly made? what trades are so noble that those who engage in them are allowed to keep what they earn? and who decides what a noble profession is? do you see the problem here?
Look, I am no fan of this couple I think he sees himself as a dictator above reproach ( with the blessings of our lazy and inept congress) but we really must be careful not to become the very thing we despise.
Good, as long as you are not one of those limousine liberals that wants to parade around like kings while demanding the middle class agree to increased taxes. And if you want to “buy nice things” go for it. AS long as the money you are spending is yours. In Robinson’s case, she is spending our money.
That's not the dress---it's her rear end.
LMAO
“”It’s got that sort of poof at the bottom that’s very sort of billowy”
That’s not the dress-—it’s her rear end.”
lol, I am just dumbfounded by this crew
Please. They are ghetto trash grifters who act like they
just won the lottery.
lol certainly not a limousine liberal and certainly we are always for lower taxes (really wish the US would adopt a flat tax but not going to happen)
now we have been footing the bill for her outrageous vacations but you have not yet proven that taxpayers paid anything for that dress.
I know it....you think you’re used to it, but then something else comes along....
it is easy to become so blinded by hate that we become exactly what we criticize...
Hate? Yeah, I hate their guts and I freely admit it. I tend to respond that way to people who are destroying my country.
Now go admire the huge backside on that uncouth ghetto trash and pat yourself on the back for being so righteous.
It's not nice to refer to Caliph Baraq like that.
Hate will get us absolutely nowhere in our efforts to try to save our country it is always counterproductive.
Then what is the answer oh great one?
Hatred of evil is actually a pretty efficient motivator.
Looks like a huge tent!Who’s under there?
I am not at all concerned about that in this case. I begrudge nobody the wealth they are clever or lucky enough to earn. I firmly believe that the first couple did not come by anything they have honestly. Their wealth derives from Obamas career as a public servant and the sale of books I do not believe Obama wrote. Moochelles greatest personal accomplishment was landing the $300K no show job she was hired for because Obama cheated his way into the Senate. I do not believe that either one of these reprobates has ever done an honest days work and their entire existence is built on treachery. The fact that these covetous grifters so obviously want to live a rich and famous lifestyle and hang out with the wealthy elite makes the way they speak about the affluent even more reprehensible than it would otherwise be. To hell with both of them.
