thank you (butter-you-up :) for your efforts, while I'm glad these prohibitions are available ..do you think, they really angry these photos/articles are posted..or is just a tactic, to insure favor w/the Washington Establishment groupies..and I'm not trying to get banned.

It's a conspiracy. Some people like to be paid for their work but of course that does not fit in with our country's socialized medicine. Perhaps you are someone who works for free, giving away all your work product to anyone who needs it.

Getty Images doesn't. Neither do AP, AFP, Reuters, Corbis, nor any professional photographers.

However, if someone wants to buy the Getty Photo, provided Getty will agree to license one use of the photo I just removed, Getty Images charges $49.00 for a one-time posting of the photo. It's also possible that upon payment, Getty might allow the one photo on the one post to remain viewable for as long as three months.

Otherwise, ignoring Free Republic's copyright restrictions by posting a copyright infringing photo, cartoon, un-excerpted text or article from any copyright restricted source, will expose Free Republic to a potential lawsuit which could cost many thousands in attorneys' fees.
