During an earlier thread today many were dissatisfied with the Weather Nation because it didn't have local weather. I was able to type in my zip code a few minutes ago and there it was. In another thread I expressed my viewpoint that the Weather Channel had so much non-weather related programming and often to the left of left. I'm willing to give this channel a chance since all I want is weather. . . "pure and simple".
“Actually the storm naming is done by the Weather Channel.”
I am watching the Weather Channel. I turn on the TV to get the weather and some joker is mining for gold, then another is driving a truck through the tundra, and still another is a rehash of past storm and what if storms PLUS a global warming lecture.
JUST GIVE ME THE CURRENT WEATHER & FORECAST
ROTFL!!!!!!!
Comcast: where ideology trumps profits
Weather Nation is great, the way TWC used to be. You can now customize your local area and favorite cities forecasts.. Best part...it’s all weather, no Global Warming BS.
Comcast may find out their “baby” isn’t as cute as they thought....
“Comcast: where ideology trumps profits”
All that is lacking is Michelle O with a weather rock.
For those Freepers who wonder, “What is a weather rock?”
If the rock is wet, it’s raining.
If the rock is swinging, the wind is blowing.
If the rock casts a shadow, the sun is shining.
If the rock does not cast a shadow and is not wet, the sky is cloudy.
If the rock is not visible, it is foggy.
If the rock is white, it is snowing.
If the rock is coated with ice, there is a frost.
If the ice is thick, it’s a heavy frost.
If the rock is bouncing, there is an earthquake.
If the rock is under water, there is a flood.
If the rock is warm, it is sunny.
If the rock is missing, there was a tornado.
If the rock is wet and swinging violently, there is a hurricane.
If the rock has white splats on it, watch out for birds.
I install DirecTV. Yes. Part time cable guy!
