My son and a friend and I were talking about the old Beach race today and my son commuted that Smokey Yunick will never make the Nascar Hall of fame because of the hate Old Bill France had for his rule bending. Son had just reread Smokey’s book.
Did y’all get a kick out of the fire in the battery pack of the Chevy Pace Car. It would make a hell of a Ford commercial. I hope the EPA was watching
I did not see the pace car fire, but think it is funny if a hybrid let the smoke out of the engine to pollute Gaia. The France family has me puking with the “green/communist” stuf they are promoting. I think they are slobbering to get at Zer0’s underwear for some new PC gender neutral racing action.
Great race. We enjoyed it a lot more then we thought we would. Looks like a lot of the lads are a wee bit anxious this year.
