No matter how many times I watch it, I never get tired of it. I have Lonesome Dove and the prequels and sequels and haul them out off and on. Lonesome Dove is my very favorite. All of Larry McMurtry’s books are wonderful, too. If you haven’t read them, you should.

I love Lonesome Dove. Duvall and Lee were perfect for their rolls. After it came out I had a young Angus bull who was showing himself to be something. When I registered him I gave him the name Augustus. I still wait for a great bull to be named Capt'n Call.
