About 2 years before my dad died, we had to take his car away from him. He got to the point he would pull out without looking and driving very poorly. He was a menace to everyone.
I could tell similar stories about my 5'2" grandfather and his Buick LeSabre. When my folks were forced to take away his keys, he didn't relinquish them quietly.
