I’ve been trying to do a walk through since the incident. It’s striking that witnesses describe what happened as either in the blink of an eye, or very, very fast. Murder two requires having a depraved mind. The man’s history disproves that. At worse he’s guilty of involuntary manslaughter.
What it says is "evincing a depraved mind regardless of human life..." Reeves own actions before and after the murder support that. He shot and killed a man in cold blood without justifiable circumstances. Then cooked up the self-defense story.
Wait a minute here meatloaf.
You say the murder happens within a blink of an eye?
But the incident was much longer was it not?
My point is, wasn't Reeves already in a heated argument with the victim and then went to go complain to management minutes prior to the shooting? Did Reeves load up or possibly ready his weapon for a quick grab for round 2 ?
