How do we know Reeves’ anger caused the shooting? The nurse had no idea what was going on before and during the drawing and firing of the gun. I realize I’m splitting hairs here. I’ve been trying to understand a lot of illogical behavior through the years. Knowing how habits result and how they’re stored in the non-thinking part of the brain shed new light on previous experiences.
The anger might have made it more likely to shoot. Reeves doesn’t have a history of losing his temper during his career. Was anger the only reason he shot Oulson? That is what I’m questioning.
And in fact it's my position the former cop shooter likely had readied his weapon for a quick grab and shoot when after the first altercation returned to his seat after attempting to complain to management. This is also based on the video which show an old man drawing and shooting nearly immediately after the pop corn was tossed.
Ya see, no one has that fast of response, that quick of a draw unless they had ever intention of drawing prior to the event and were just waiting for an excuse.
BTW, no sale on how well the old man was trained...Watch the video..The weapon was likly in his lap or at least his hand was on the weapon ready to shoot...
My opinion is you have a former cop captain who was suffers from heavy badge syndrome and was used to people bending and jumping to his every whim, and one who was not going to be disrespected by anyone for any reason....
