In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".
neologize \ nee-OL-uh-jahyz \ , verb
1. to make or use new words or create new meanings for existing words.
2. to devise or accept new religious doctrines.
Example sentences:
Scientists at Northwestern University, inspired by the faux pundit’s ability to neologize, created a set of nouns for “Colbertian,” which they could use to test the effects of bilingualism.

Etymology:
Neologize joins the Greek neo meaning "new" with a variant on –logy , a combining form derived from the Greek logos meaning "word, speech, discourse, reason." This verb entered English in the early 1800s.

i had zero problem with the win, but milbury, roenick et al extended RAGGING on ovie is so ridiculous. you do not hear those sort of diatribes against any other player. don cherry hates ovie too, and he will do it. whereas they can’t get FAR ENOUGH UP crosby’s behind.

I am in Fairview, TX, north of Dallas, supposedly escaping the northern chill of NJ. So, it is 18 degrees, with a light snow.
accusing ovie of skating in circles instead of coming hard, and his stats show more hits than the entire first line of the Islanders combined. we have criticized ovie in the past for being lazy, and in past years he has been. this year is not one of them. he has played great.

I was just doing what my dad always did when he didn’t want to talk about something. How ‘bout those Astros? It’s a running joke in our house. I’m sorry if it sounded mean. Not my intention at all.
It was the Eurotrash, no heart thing all over again. Pretty obvious how they feel about him, but the guy gets points so what can you do? It is snowing steadily here, tiny flakes but the roads are already covered. I’m surprised the phone isn’t ringing for early dismissal since it’s not going to warm up at all.
